Pashupatinath Kathmandu

The ramp where the ladies are stood is where the ready to die and dead are laid. Their feet are dipped into the Ganges, the shock for the dying alows them to pas away.
A funeral pyre waiting.
The temples in line on the river bank.
View through the complex with the smoke of the funeral pyres in the background.

Kathmandu Patan

Mini Taj

Stunningly beautiful, in a different way to the Taj. The detail skill and colours make this a must see. it is also quieter than the Taj or the fort so a bit of peace can be had.

Agra and The Taj

I half expected to be disappointed with the Taj, such a build up. But I have to say it is an amazing place and truly magnificent.

Punctures on way to Jaipur

Puncture 1, the tyre suddenly went flat, totally flat. we put on the spare and stopped at the next garage as the spare was a bit bald and not really good enough to drive on. I managed to burn my fingers taking the wheel nuts off, think his brakes were binding a bit.
Puncture 2, same garage that repaired puncture1, we got about 300m down the road before the repaired tyre went flat again!!! The two punctures cost us about two hours.
