For vols, some people have all their stuff boxed up and returned to the UK. That can be expensive and usually goes by ship so takes a while. Most just do what I did and give it to new volunteers, local staff or friends. It will disappear and be put to good use. I had acquired a lot of things and made life quite comfortable but it had to stay behind. Think of your home comforts as disposable as ultimately that is what they may be.

My neighbours and their grandson, he always waves hello and goodbye. They have kept me in coconuts, mango, jack fruit, tambeli, and assorted foods.
